Aviation Exploring is a hands-on program offered through Learning for Life that exposes young people to flying. It offers aviation experiences, as a possible career or for the sheer pleasure of being around airplanes. Career Exploring combines some classroom training with flying lessons. Young adults get to experience firsthand what it’s like to be a pilot, aircraft mechanic, flight engineer, or air traffic controller.
Brenda Bradford, Learning for Life Director, will talk about the many successes of the Aviation Exploring Program, including Post 747 sponsored by the SFV 99s and explain the mechanics of forming a Post.
