Visit the Autry that inhabits a unique niche of Western history and culture. Although there are exemplary art museums and many historic sites in our region, there is only one museum devoted to Western history and culture. The Autry is the only museum of its kind located in a major metropolitan center and the only museum that combines multiple Native American perspectives with Western histories and cultures in such a profoundly interconnected and multifaceted way. No place welcomes so many traditions, ideas, cultures, and people as the Autry. As a museum-plus-education-plus-research institution, the Autry brings together the diverse experiences, collections, and creativity that symbolize the West.

An option for your free time after the business meeting. Discover downtown Los Angeles. After the meeting we will meet in the lobby of the hotel – time to be announced at the end of the meeting. We will then take the hotel shuttle to the Red Line station and ride the subway to downtown Los Angeles. We will first visit Olvera Street where Los Angeles began. You will have time there for lunch on your own at one of the many restaurants. On most days you will be serenaded by local Mariachis as you sample Mexican food.
We will then take a shuttle bus to the new Los Angeles Cathedral and tour this magnificent building. After the Cathedral it will be a short walk to Walt Disney Concert Hall. You have seen this building in many TV episodes and movies but up close and personal it is awe-inspiring. We will tour the beautiful gardens and if lucky be able to view the Hollywood sign.
We will then return to the hotel for the evening festivities.
Your cost will be about $5 for your Metro ticket.Lunch will be on your own. Please make a reservation if you wish to take this tour so we have an idea of head count.

The Nethercutt Collection features rare collectibles ranging from mechanical musical instruments and antique furniture to the true heart of the collection: over 250 American and European automobiles dating from 1898 to 1997.

We have the unique opportunity to visit the Toluca Lake home of Amelia Earhart. This Spanish style bungalow was her West Cost home from 1934 until 1937. We will tour the house in small groups, while the rest can stand under the tree where Amelia loved to sit and read, write and plan her trips. The homeowners are graciously allowing us to visit their home, afterwords they will join us for dinner at Universl Citiwalk.
